From Rock Bottom to Rebuilding
After 25 years in the automotive industry, life hit me with two major curveballs. My marriage ended, forcing me to start over from the inside out. Not long after, I lost the career I had devoted my life to. The weight of both nearly broke me.
I wasn’t clinically depressed, but I was dangerously close. With two young kids depending on me, I knew I couldn’t spiral further. I made a decision to move forward — one day at a time — showing up even when it was uncomfortable, and choosing progress over excuses.
How DO IT NOW Original Was Born
I discovered solace in the gym — lifting became my therapy. Each rep reminded me that true progress only comes from showing up, day after day, even when it’s hard. That’s where the phrase “DO IT NOW – TAKE ACTION | BE DISCIPLINED | STAY CONSISTENT” took root. I wanted that reminder on my skin, a visible declaration of intent. So I founded DO IT NOW Original: motivational apparel created to fuel your mindset, not just your style.
